Durr MEGTEC Millennium RTO Rebuild
Problem
The high temperature process emissions and condensable nature of the VOCs in fabric coating applications require a specific RTO design. A manufacturer of air filtration media was expanding and looking for a highly reliable RTO for their new venture.

Solution
The Millennium RTO by Durr Environmental - MEGTEC has features that accommodate the high process temperature from the textile coating ovens. The design is compact with poppet valves incorporated into the body of the RTO. This keeps the poppet valve housing warm, and with an insulated outer wall the risk of condensate on the walls is mitigated.
Textile emissions are a mix that includes some condensable VOCs. These will be visible emissions that must be considered when selecting an RTO system-an RTO releases a puff upon each valve switch (approx. every 2-3 minutes). A puff capture feature was included in the RTO system for this application. It is an innovative solution that mitigates the puff by "capturing" it, and sending it back through the RTO for treatment. The Millennium design locates the puff capture below the RTO to achieve a small footprint.
This is approximately our 20th Millennium RTO rebuild. The Millennium RTO is solidly built, and clever in it compactness - providing a small footprint.
