One-Year Injury Free
Celebrating 1 Year Injury-Free! Kono Kogs is excited to announce that our team has achieved a significant milestone: 1 year injury-free! (Zero OSHA recordables) This accomplishment is a testament to our commitment to safety and the hard work of every team member. To celebrate this achievement, we hosted a luncheon where employees came together for a meal and to enjoy some well-deserved recognition.
In addition, each employee received a gift to commemorate the event, as it is the first time in the company’s history to reach this milestone. It was a fantastic opportunity to appreciate the dedication and teamwork of each employee that made this possible! Thank you to our President, Chris Worachek, whose unwavering commitment to working safely has permeated throughout the company.
When speaking about reaching this milestone, our Safety Manager, Scott Sowle, said, “A big thank you to all our employees who contributed to this success. We have a diverse workforce, from seasoned craftsmen/tradesmen to high school co-ops, who have clearly demonstrated that when we prioritize safety and look out for each other, we can realize our goals of being incident and injury free!”
