Kono Kogs Awarded UL 508A Listing for Industrial Control Panels
Kono Kogs, Inc. is pleased to announce the awarding of UL 508A certification for their industrial control panels. These electrical subpanels are intended for general industrial machinery operating at 600 volts, or less, in applications where the ambient temperature does not exceed 104°F.
To obtain UL 508A certification, an extensive evaluation of drawings, supporting documentation, testing procedures, and test results are required. In accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the UL 508A panel listing is for use in Canada and the United States.
The UL listing mark signifies that a product complies with an acceptable safety standard and is compliant with national and local electric codes. The benefit of selecting an industrial control panel that carries the UL 508A certification is that it guarantees safe performance and integrity of the cabinet and its components.
