Millwright/Industrial Mechanic Foreman

Job Responsibilities

The Millwright/Industrial Mechanic Foreman will report directly to the Millwright/Installation Manager and will assist in the removal and installation of Kono Kogs, inc. equipment by disassembling, reassembling, and relocating machinery.

  • This position is primarily a traveling position within the contiguous United States. No international travel is required.
  • Able to keep job sites and equipment organized and clean.
  • Ability to oversee crews in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to ARC and MIG weld and operate a plasma torch.
  • Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and vender specifications to dismantle and reassemble machine sub-assemblies using various hand and power tools.
  • Assists in staging and delivery of materials and equipment. Our installations consist of all types of air pollution control equipment, in all types of industry.
  • Assists in rigging equipment and possess the ability to signal machine operators.
  • Perform mechanical assembly operations to precise tolerances.
  • Ability to work from aerial lifts.
  • Use measuring instruments to level and align work.
  • Familiarity with natural gas, electrical, and compressed air utilities.
  • Meet and maintain quality and performance expectations including efficiencies and productivity standards.
  • Actively participate in team meetings to communicate and help resolve any productivity and quality issues.
  • Provide accurate record keeping.
  • Regularly and effectively communicate and interact with other team members.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Welding and cutting skills.
  • Rigging experience.
  • Computer skills in Excel/Word/AutoCAD.
  • 2-4 years of experience preferred but not required.
  • Troubleshooting/Problem solving capabilities.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Able to pass drug screening
